That's me accepting my award and looking a bit shell shocked!
Hi, I'm Haulwen Nicholas, aka The Packaging Oracle and winner of Packaging News UK Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award 2017 for my work on packaging education in the sector.
In June 2017, I set up my own business to provide specialist support to packaging manufacturers and packaging users. In particular, I'm keen to support entrepreneurs and SME's to make the right packaging choices for their business.
My focus is on providing advice, coaching and training to the industry on packaging strategy, packaging & the environment & circular economy.
Packaging is in the news again for all the wrong reasons, I can help you to determine the best packaging solutions and environmental packaging strategy for your organisation so you can make the best-informed decisions to limit your impact on the environment.
I provide bespoke advice for organisations large and small and online training via my Packaging Academy. I also offer bespoke in-house training on request.
Not only do I support training for technical teams, but also for people working in roles related to packaging such as marketing, sales, procurement, PR, CSR, journalists etc.

Haulwen is in a unique position where she can really understand both sides of the argument around the packaging and environmental debate.
