ABOUT
Haulwen
Hi, I'm Haulwen Nicholas, aka The Packaging Oracle and winner of Packaging News UK Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award 2017 for my work on packaging education in the sector. I am a judge for the UK Packaging News Award's, a judge for the Packaging Europe Sustainability awards and regularly contribute to the packaging press on opinion pieces.
In June 2017, I set up my own business to provide specialist support to packaging manufacturers and packaging users. In particular, I'm keen to support entrepreneurs and SME's to make the right packaging choices for their businesses. The most common question I get asked is how to find a packaging supplier, which isn't as easy as it looks.
Having run my business for over 4 years now I've come to understand the questions that start-up's and SME's are most likely to ask and because of this I have set up my Packaging Academy to give affordable advice on how to select the right packaging for your product and find the right supplier.
Packaging remains in the news for all the wrong reasons, I can help you to determine the best packaging solutions so you can make the best-informed decisions to limit your impact on the environment.
I provide bespoke advice for organisations large and small and online training via my Packaging Academy. I also offer bespoke in-house training on request.
Not only do I support training for SME's and start-ups, but also for people working in roles related to packaging such as marketing, sales, procurement, PR, CSR, journalists etc.
I can also offer a packaging mentoring service for organisations where they have a junior packaging technologist who would benefit from someone to call to brainstorm ideas and get advice.
That's me accepting my award and looking a bit shell shocked!
